This year we asked students to answer the following question: “How would you use economics to solve one of these issues: poverty; climate change; or structural unemployment.”
Entries were accepted in a variety of formats (e.g. essay, poem, song or video).
The results
The winner is Olawale Lawal (University of Bath) who wrote a parable. As the winner, Olalwe will receive the grand prize of £400.
In second place came Sarisher Mann (University of Cardiff) who wrote a song (mp3) with lyrics (PDF).
In third place came Ha Phung Do (Abbey College) who made a cartoon (PDF).
